Traveling home we stopped in a little town called Gruene and ate at the Gristmill Restaurant overlooking the Guadalupe River. What a great little town complete with country store, gourmet food store, and small antique shops. 
We made it back to Dallas around 6:45pm in a rush to get to Sprinkles before they closed at 7:00pm. We called right at 7 when we were around the corner and they stayed open for us. What a sweet ending to a great trip - sickness and all.
