Happy Birthday Max - 7

On Max's actual birthday we let him choose where he wanted to eat after church. He chose Pirate McDonald's. He was thrilled that he had friends that could come too.

DI Competition

This was Max's second year participating in the Destination Imagination competition. He spent one day per week after school practicing with his teammates. This year's theme was a news broadcast. Max had two parts, he was a little boy being interviewed and also the alien.

After the performance, his teammates surprised him with spiderman cupcakes for his birthday. He thought that was great.

School Birthday

Max isn't a big fan of cupcakes (except Sprinkles) so for his birthday celebration at school he requested Potbelly cookies. They are huge oatmeal chocolate chip cookies and are so yummy.

School Valentine's Party

The school party was a little late due to the snow day and the holiday. Max exchanged valentines and was able to deliver his jewelry organizer.

Mall Fun

Today was a school holiday so we met some friends at the mall. We had a yummy Chickfila breakfast, threw some coins in the fountain, and played at the playground.

Max built this little jewelry organizer for his friend at school.

Snow Ice Cream

School was cancelled the next day so we took our accumulated snow and made Max's first snow ice cream. He thought that was so cool

Cowboy Snow Girl

After school we played in the snow that had been falling all day. We had a snowball fight, made snow angels, and built a snowman. Max decided our snowman was a girl and started giving her pony tails. We used Potato Head parts for the face and topped it off with an OSU cowboy hat. Our neighborhood asked us to send in pics of the snowmen everyone had made with all the snow and Max won a giftcard to Best Buy for first place.

Moms, Muffins, and Math

Today was Moms, Muffins, and Math at school. You were supposed to arrive early to school, have a muffin with your child, and play math games. Max didn't want the muffin and after two math games was begging to go down to pod 3 where they were showing cartoons.
