Awesome Safari

Our Kilimanjaro Safari this trip was awesome. There were tons of animals out in the open and a few that insisted on blocking our way.

Animal Kingdom

We arrived at Animal Kingdom pre-dawn. Tree of Life at sunrise.

Crystal Palace Lunch

We had lunch at The Crystal Palace with Pooh and friends. We had a great table next to the windows and were able to see the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Parade go by while we ate lunch. Since they knew we were celebrating our anniversary on this trip they decorated our table.

Finally Magic Kingdom

We arrived at Magic Kingdom pre-dawn and this was what it looked like on Main Street - everyone making their mad dash to either Fantasyland or Tomorrowland. Daddy and Max headed to Tomorrowland to ride Astro-Orbiter and Mommy headed to the Main Street Bakery for a french toast loaf. Major bummer to find out those are no longer included as a snack option but didn't change how good it tasted. Here is what the castle area looked like after the crazies had made it to their destinations and the sun emerged. First time meeting Ariel in her Grotto - much better Ariel than the one we had lunch with in Epcot. Here are the pictures of the moment that almost ruined the entire vacation. We had to enlist the help of a dream team member passing by to assure Max that the attraction was indeed closed. As a result he gave us a pass to use as a fastpass at any attraction we wanted. Max chose to ride Big Thunder Mountain, one of his favorites.

Dinner at Chef Mickeys

After a fun filled day at MGM and an afternoon break at our hotel we headed over to the Contemporary for dinner at Chef Mickey's.

More MGM Moments

Max spent alot of time playing in the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground. We watched a little of the Car Stunt Show.
Max built his own Light Saber so that with the one he got for Christmas he will have two for battles.

Animation Academy - Stitch

We went to the Animation Academy and learned how to draw Stitch. The last time we did this at Disneyland we drew Goofy and Daddy was the best artist but this time Mommy had the better drawing.
