Max's World - Crownty?

Max is always asking to play with my iphone. Once I bought the protective case for it I gave in and let him play with it. He loves listening to all the music. Well the other day he was listening to Taylor Swift's Tears on My Guitar. First he asked do I have tears on my guitar? I said are you sad, he said no, so I said nope I don't think you do. Then the following converstation took place:
Is Taylor Swift American Idol or is she Crownty?
I don't know - what does crownty mean?
You know like a cowboy with a rope (as he is swinging his arm over his head in a lasso motion)
After I picked myself up off the floor from laughing - oh you mean country.
Frustrated Max - Yes, country with cowboys and ropes and they say Yee-Haw.
Yes Max she sings country music.

Spring Fling

We headed to our annual neighborhood spring fling. Max always is up for bouncing in the bounce houses so that is where we headed first. He bounced awhile, hoola hooped, spun the Chick fil A wheel, and did some gymnastics before heading home. Max won two free tickets to the Heard museum for his hula hooping and free fries from Chick fil A.

Max's World - Billy Blanko

Tonight Max asked to watch a movie. This is how the conversation played out.
Sure you can watch a movie, which one?
Billy Blanko
We don't have that one, I don't know what that is.
Yes you do....Billy Blanko. The one with all the kids and they are running around going crazy.
Is it a cartoon?
No, it is not a cartoon, cartoons are not for me! It is the one we watched in Stillwater at Cimarron Suites.
Oh......Willy Wonka....yes you may watch that one.

Bubble Play

Max had a bubble playdate in the neighborhood. Max had a great time playing bubbles with all his friends.
Classic Max Moment: taking time out from bubbles to read all the no rules on the trampoline, he even had a friend join in.

Spring Football

We headed up to Stillwater to catch the Spring Football game. Every spring the OSU football team splits into the orange and white teams and scrimmages one another. We thought it would be a great way to see if it would be worth it to take Max to a regular season college football game. The spring game is free to sit in regular seats but you could purchase club seats also. Since they started building the new stadium that is all Hiram has talked about - sitting in club seats. Needless to say that is where we sat. The new stadium is amazing and the club seats did not disappoint. The great thing about the club seats is that all your food is included. They had four different buffets set up with different food at each one, multiple ice cream carts, and the drink and candy counter. I took Max up to the candy counter to get a candy bar. Max was looking at the candy trying to decide and the lady layed out about five different candies and said take one of each. We did just choose one but went back a couple of times. The game was fun and everyone had a great time. We stayed at a new hotel in town called Cimarron Hotel & Suites, which is within walking distance of the campus. Max's favorite part of the whole trip - Eskimo Joes and the hotel pool - go figure.

World of Webkinz

Max has officially entered the world of webkinz. He received three for his birthday in February. We first adopted Spot the boy dalmation. Spot sleeps in a dog house bed in his music themed room. Then came Wallie the girl duck he received for Easter. Wallie is completely pampered. She has multiple outfits, a very girly room, and even her own bath and pink toilet. Our latest addition was Max Moch the boy snake that he bought with his own money. Max Moch lives in a pirate themed room. We still have a frog and monkey from his birthday that we are saving.
