We scored founders club tickets to the Frisco Roughriders game. (Thanks Ms Theresa) The seats were directly behind home plate and included all you can eat food/drinks/ice cream. Max had a great time at the game especially on the playground and we had a special treat of Josh Hamilton from the Rangers playing that night.

Disguises
Max loves playing Lego Star Wars. One of his favorite things to do is turn on disguises. When you do that all the little lego people and even the ships wear these little glasses with mustache disguises. Max thinks this is hilarious. Mommy and Daddy had stopped in a local grocery store and left Max and Grandma waiting in the car. As we were picking up a few things, what did I find - disguises. Of course we had to get them and we put them on in the parking lot and walked up to the car. Max was so excited - why are you wearing disguises! He couldn't wait to try it on himself. Now when he puts them on he always issues a warning. Don't be scared it will be me but I will be wearing a disguise.

Lego Club Racers
I decided to sign Max up for a Lego club event at our local Lego Store. For $15 you get to come in one hour before the store opens, build Legos with a team, t-shirt, and a bag of legos. This month's theme was Lego Racers. The teams were split by ages and were instructed to build a lego race car and then raced their car against the other team. Max was on the youngest team (age 6) and believe it or not - they WON!

New Style
I sent Daddy and Max to get Max's haircut. Always the same 3 on top, 2 on sides, 1 in the back. Max had a different idea of what he wanted this time. He told the lady at Sport Clips (his favorite place to go) "Don't listen to him (Dad) I know what I want". Daddy decided since it was his hair he could choose. Here is our new spiky Max, who will probably now need another haircut in two weeks but at least he was able to experience some independence.

Day Five - Last Hoorah
We parted ways with our friends and headed to the new American Idol Experience. It was great, very realistic, Max LOVED it. He even got sucked in by the Coca Cola sponsorship and begged for a coke in a metal bottle. I have to say Coke taste pretty good in a metal bottle.
Round 2 of the Animation Academy was a big surprise Max actually attempted to draw the character and it looked great.
