Sports Camp

Max went to his first Sports Camp. The camp was held Monday - Thursday from 1pm - 3pm at a local church. Max had a great time playing with all his new friends. His favorite sports were Basketball and Soccer. The little guy even has a decent dribble now. Pics - Max watching the butterflies scurry as we walk in, Jumbo Soccer, Coach Joe and Max's Team.

National Night Out

We took Max to our Neighborhood National Night Out. It was crazy hot and we didn't stay long. Max had a great time bouncing in the bounce house, eating his cotton candy, and swinging on the swings. We picked up some safety information and then headed home.

Circus Comes to Town

Can you believe that you can actually go to the circus and be in air conditioning? That's the only way our family would ever go! This was Max's second year to go to the Circus at the American Airlines Center. He had a great time once again. His souvenir of choice was the program with free clown nose. He spent the whole show reading the program and making us all wear the clown nose. We had great seats this year. We were in one of the two big party suites with nice big chairs. The show was slow for the first half but the second half was great.

Max Gets a Dog ......

Just kidding! Max got to dog-sit for a week while my cousins were in town from California. He had a blast taking "Tiffa" on her daily walks and her potty breaks. He was so good about taking her outside and giving her a treat once she came back inside.

Reading Program Completed

Max headed back to the library to turn in his final passport. His prize today was to pick a new book and a Chick-fil-A coupon. The library was holding a carnival for all the little kids that were participating in the reading program. Yep you guessed it we counted the bubbles on the shelves once again - still just nine for the record. Pictures: counting bubbles with his newly made fish, stuffing his fake taco, fishing, choosing pieces for his mobile craft, cheating at the penny toss, and showing off his elephant puppet. You may be wondering why is Max in his swimsuit? We were heading to the pool after the carnival.

Go Diego Go

Max and Daddy went to see Go Diego Go Live. I had all intentions of going with Max, however, my cake decorating class met for the final time that afternoon. So I had to spring it on Daddy that he would be taking Max to a room full of screaming children. He was a trooper and agreed to go. Max's little girlfriend from our neighborhood went with her mom. The two kiddos had a blast from all reports. Max danced from start to finish. The best part of the show for Max was when Dora showed up - he went crazy! Pics - Baby Jaguar Mask, Modeling his concert T-shirt, Getting a kiss from his girlfriend.

Jack Carter Pool

Max and I headed over to the Jack Carter Pool in Plano. This was our first visit to this pool and we absolutely love it. The kiddie pool is a large bowl with zero entry. The center of the bowl has a maximum depth of about 1.5 feet. In the center of the bowl is a play structure that has slides and water spraying everywhere. Max loves the independence of playing at this pool and I love the fact that I can sit in the water and see everything he is doing without having to hover over him the whole time. (Mom and Max Feet)
