Daddies and Bad Dreams

Sometimes Max will say he has had a bad dream or that he is having a hard time getting to sleep. He never comes out of his room just calls out for Daddy. I guess sometimes a boy just needs his Daddy to come make everything ok. What is so funny is that when Daddy goes up to Max's room they both end up asleep. I was able to go in and turn on all the lights and take these pictures without either one waking up.

Happy Easter - Happy Birthday Mommy

We celebrated Easter this year by going to Sunrise Service. The children all wear their pajamas and get to hunt for Easter Eggs once the church service is over and the sun has risen. The service was interactive and used the children to act out the Easter story. Our pastor asked two bigger boys on stage to be the angels but Max and his friend Ethan decided they would just hop on stage as well. Here is the video:

For the first time in my life Easter fell on my birthday. What a treat to celebrate the greatest gift on my birthday. We ate at Gattitown since I love pizza. Here is our commemorative photo:

Let it Snow

I was so excited when Max got home from school today. It had been snowing for a little while and I desperately wanted to have someone to play in the snow with me. Max did not disappoint, he had a great time playing with Mommy in the snow. We built a snowman and used various frozen food items to decorate. We were still playing when Daddy arrived home early from work to join in the fun.

Country Boy Max

Max went to a birthday party at Grisham Farms. He had a blast hanging out in the country. He climbed a tree, swung on a tire swing, laid in a hammock, dug in a sandbox, and met many animals. He fed all the big farm animals and then got to pet various small animals including a sugar glider, chinchilla, hedgehog, bearded dragon, etc...

Max Knows How to Party!

Max's birthday party was at The Zone this year. He loves everything about that place, bouncing, slides, pizza, games, prizes, etc... Here are some pics from his party as well as him posing with all his presents.

Here are some classic Max videos

Max has always dreaded the singing of Happy Birthday to him. He is not a big fan of everyone focusing on him and doing something in unison. He has come along way and has learned to tolerate this tradition but you can tell its not his favorite thing.

Max loves to dance and takes it very seriously.

Max is obsessed with presidents and is always asking about their wives so what better present for the little man but a way to learn all about them. Classic Max line - I don't know their names - he does now!

This video is classic Max interaction. Tons of questions that we have to answer about everything.
