Church Fall Festival

Sunday was the fall festival at church. Max had a blast dressing up as Mater. He spent most of the night alternating between the bounce house and the bounce house slide. He did participate in a few games including the cake walk which he refers to as "walk the numbers."

School Fall Festival

Max had a great time at his school's fall festival. He picked out and painted his own pumpkin, made a vegetable stamping picture, and completed a dot to dot and a maze page.

Maverick Max

When do you know that your son is a true Mavericks fan? For us it was this weekend when given the choice of going to Six Flags and the Rainforest Cafe or a Mavericks event, Max chose the Mavericks. He was a little disappointed when the event was over and we were not watching a basketball game but he still had a great time. The event was a countdown to tip off of the first home game. Max got to meet DeSagana Diop (center) and Mavs Man, play basketball, and jam to the music pounding out of the Mav's truck. Funny Moment of the day was when Max and I came into the living room (both in our Mavericks Jerseys) and found Daddy wearing an OSU shirt. Max said Daddy go change clothes and be a fan.
Daddy didn't change clothes but did save the day by holding our place in the autograph line for an hour while Max and Mom got to run around and play.

Get Along Little Doggie

Here is Max wrangling his grandparents dog. Notice the cowboy hat, that is the one he insisted upon getting in Stillwater. He makes quite the cowboy!

Cowboy Indoctrination

This past weekend we took Max to Stillwater for the first time since he was a baby. Max loved seeing Oklahoma State University after he has heard so much about it. It was an away game, therefore we were able to watch the game at Eskimo Joe's. What a wonderful day, sipping milkshakes, chowing down on cheese fries, and watching the Cowboys blow away Nebraska.
It was a wild crowd at Joe's that day complete with all the game day cheers. Max was a little intimidated at first but soon jumped right in to the mix. Given all the choices of shirts at Joe's he chose the Pistol Pete shirt and also insisted on a black cowboy hat from Walmart before we left town. I think we have a true Pokes fan on our hands.

Tuesday Night Lights

Daddy is on a flag football team that plays on Tuesday Nights. Guess who his number one fan is! Max loves to watch Daddy and his friends play football. Here he is with his little friends at a late night game "tailgating".
