Rodeo Birthday

Max's little friend decided to celebrate her birthday at the Ft Worth Rodeo. This was Max's first rodeo and he had a blast. So much so that he has asked for his next birthday to be at the rodeo.

Before the rodeo we stopped to pose in front of Billy Bob's and also checked out some of the horses that were going to be in the show.

No rodeo would be complete without a calf run (sheep for smaller kids) and of course Max had to participate.

Landform Diorama

Max had to choose a landform Diorama as a project for school. Fortunately ocean counted and we had just been on our cruise.

Close to the Ice

Daddy's friend gave us Dallas Stars tickets. Mommy and Max got to sit 5 rows from the ice and Daddy had to sit about 15 rows back.

School Science Night

Max enjoyed all the experiments at the School Science Night.

Birthday Bionicle

Max went to a birthday party where they built bionicles. He was very proud of his bionicle he made.

Grand Prix - Race Day

Max won two trophies at the Awana Grand Prix. 3rd place for design and 3rd place for speed.

Grand Prix - Car Prep

Max decided he wanted to make a Lightning McQueen pine car for the Awana Grand Prix. He painted his wedge cut block red and then we used the Cricut to cut out the face parts to glue on the car. We finished it off with a gold dollar for weight and the rusteeze emblem.

Trip Home

We had to get up early for breakfast, get off the ship, and get through customs. We headed back to the Orlando Airport where we had a day rate since our plane didn't leave until that evening. Max and Daddy tried out the rooftop pool. Daddy booked us in first class for our plane ride home and it was awesome.

Disney Cruise - Night Three

We got cleaned up and walked around the ship. We caught the sunset, found formal Goofy in the lobby, and played a little shuffleboard.
With no food in his tummy Max wasn't all that energetic so we decided we would skip going to the theater and dinner. We were able to watch the theater live from our stateroom tv and Max and I ordered room service for dinner. He had saltine crackers. Our waiter was horrified that I was eating room service and missing out so he sent up dessert from the restaurant.

Disney Cruise - Day Three

We began day three waiting for the doctor on ship to open so we could be cleared to go to our Stingray Adventure on Castaway Cay, Disney's private island. We convinced the doc that it was sea sickness and to let us take him on land. Max was doing well, he had not consumed any food and we were limiting his intake of sprite and water to sips at a time. We carried around our bucket just in case.

The stingray adventure was awesome. We all got snorkeled up and headed to the beach. We were separated into smaller groups and led into the water. Our guide asked for a volunteer to feed the stingray first and Max jumped right in.

After we all had our turns feeding and petting the stingrays we were free to snorkel among them in the lagoon. Max never quite got the hang of snorkeling but he had lots of fun swimming and then finding shells on the beach.

After leaving the stingray area, we headed over to the family beach to build sand castles.
On our way to lunch we stopped and watched the crab races.Mommy and Daddy had lunch, Max had a couple bites of bread and a few drinks, then we headed back to the ship.

Disney Cruise - Night Two

Friday Nights theater was Toy Story the Musical. It followed the plot line of the movie and Max loved watching it.

After the show we rushed back to our room to change into our pirate attire since it was pirate night. On our way we ran into Jack Sparrow.

Our restaurant of the evening was Parrot Cay an island theme. On our way to dinner we found Pirate Minnie in the atrium.

After dinner it was time for the pirate party to start. (9:45pm) All pirate characters were on hand. Pirate Goofy, Minnie, Chip and Dale, Captain Hook, Mr. Smee, and of course Pirate Mickey who arrive to save the day and kick off the fireworks at sea.

We got back to our turned down room and Max immediately crashed.

30 minutes later he was vomiting, which continued throughout the night. After having our cabin cleaned the first time, I moved him to the bathtub once it continued. Everytime I would hear him start to cough I would run in there and pull him up over the side to spit on the towels on the floor. Needless to say I probably slept a total of 2 hours that night.

We are not sure if he had a virus or if it was sea sickness because we had stopped giving him dramamine because it was making him tired and cranky.

Disney Cruise - Day Two

We woke up to a present left by Mickey Mouse - a lion fish webkinz.

Max was super excited to find out that he was now in Nassau, Bahamas. Our shore excursion didn't leave until 11:00am. So we were able to sleep in, eat a late breakfast, and then meet up for our excursion. Max watched Little Einsteins while we were checking in.

Our excursion was a tour of Atlantis on Paradise Island so we hopped on a bus over to the other island. We had a great time touring all the aquariums.

When we got back to the boat we met up with Stich by the pool on our way to our room. We ordered room service lunch complete with Mickey Ice Cream Bars (included) while watching Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. When we finished lunch we took Max to the children's lab to make Flubber and Mommy and Daddy played Bingo. Mommy played the free Bingo cards and Daddy had the electronic machine that played 48 cards per game.
