Sweet Repeats

Every year we sell Max's old toys in a consignment sale called Sweet Repeats.  Mommy always brings home new things from Sweet Repeats.  I heard him wake up Saturday morning and go into the office.  He came downstairs with this great thank you note he made all by himself.  (pic coming soon)

Time for a Trim

Max received a chia elephant for his birthday.  The grass was growing out of control so he decided to give it a little trim.  

Max's World - Lightning

While getting out of the truck after school a big flash of lightning flashed all around us.  I asked Max did you see that lightning flash?  His response - No, but I did see God's camera flash.  

Mommy's Birthday

We celebrated Mommy's birthday at Main Event in Frisco.  Lots of fun for everyone.

Surprise Party

While in OK visiting family we were told one of our family friends was having an 80th birthday surprise party.  Max insisted on going to this party before we left town and Mommy didn't want to miss it either.

Disney on Ice

Max had tickets to Disney on Ice with one of his best friends.  He had a great time watching the skaters while munching on popcorn and cotton candy.

Spring Break Bowling

We met some friends at Main Event for bowling.  Max had a great time and even won a game. Thanks Ben, Corrine, and Ms. Jen for a great time.

Max Style

If left to dress himself..

He chose blue and black shorts with a yellow striped undershirt and an orange backwards inside out shirt on top.  Of course he was totally offended when I went to change him.  

Ikea Max

Max loves to work the scanning gun at Ikea.  Maybe that could be his first job and he could share his discount with Mommy.

Handy Max

Max has been busy helping Mommy assemble all our new furniture.

When we lost a nail in a screw hole, it was a great time to talk about and use magnets.  

Rapper Max

Max and his class had their turn to perform for the school.  They rapped the rules of the classroom.  Each child was supposed to bring sunglasses, baseball cap, and necklace.  I couldn't resist making Max a giant clock to wear like Flavor Flav.

Open House

Tonight was Max's Open House at school. He was so excited to show Daddy all his work.
Here is his computer art project. Each child did all the drawing, typing, and recording alone.

On the Farm

Max's Kindergarten had a field trip to the Owen's farm in Richardson. Max rode the hayride, fed the goats, saw many animals, planted a seed, and had a picnic. He had a great time.

B-I-N-G-O!

I took Max to his first official Bingo game. We won three times. We won a free kids meal at Chilis, a free family pack from Dickey's, and a CR assortment - mousepad, water bottle, tshirt, and lanyard. He had a fun time but was wearing out toward the end. They supplied a dinner of hotdogs but Max doesn't eat hotdogs so instead he made a Cheetodog.

Sick Day Activity

While Max was sick, yet again, we decided to work on some of his Lego kits from his birthday.

Birthday Pizza Style

Since his first party was free and his birthday was taken up by a tournament we decided we would let him invite a few friends to a pizza party. His little friend was also celebrating his birthday there so we had a double party. Lots of fun had by all.
