We went directly from Magic Kingdom to Animal Kingdom via ferry and bus. This was the night for AK extra magic hours (resort guest only). We got to Animal Kingdom and headed to Camp Minnie Mickey and the character paths. Max loves walking down the path to each character. AK always has it's characters dressed up in Christmas attire during this time of year and we love that. We watched the Jingle Jungle Parade and then headed to see the new Nemo stage show. WOW, it was amazing and Max loved it. Afer Nemo it was starting to get dark and we headed to Dinoland for our special bracelets that would let us stay late. We did Triceratops Spin (think Dumbo but with dinosaurs) while Daddy rode the Everest
roller coaster. We ate dinner at the only counter service that sells McDonalds, probably Max's favorite meal of the whole trip. After dinner we rode the Dinosaur ride. Max loved this ride while Mommy and Daddy came off saying that if we would have remembered it being that dark and intense there is no way we would have put him on it. Max and Mommy met some more characters while Daddy went back to Everest. We left the park a little earlier than closing because we knew we would be back the next morning.
